IplanRio, in partnership with the Municipal Attorney General's Office (PGM), has launched a digital platform for properties with outstanding taxes available for auction. This new product represents a significant step forward in how the city handles debt collection, combining innovation with convenience for citizens.

The solution aims to encourage tax compliance by making it easier for those with outstanding debts to access information and payment options. The website allows citizens to view detailed data on each property and choose to pay quickly and efficiently via bank slip or PIX.

Furthermore, the platform streamlines the work of auctioneers and interested buyers by offering an interface that simplifies auction organization and management through a neighborhood-based catalog structure with smart filtering.

The website leilao.procuradoria.rio features over 16,000 registered properties. It also offers payment plans of up to 84 installments, provided that payments are made on time. All these features are also accessible through the Carioca Digital portal. Within less than 48 hours of its launch, the site generated over 320 payment slips, proving the initiative's success.

For the PGM, the expected impact is a reduction in bureaucratic processes and an increase in municipal revenue recovery, encouraging tax compliance. With this new collection model, citizens gain an efficient, accessible way to settle their debts without needing to travel, while also contributing to the city's development.
