On May 20th, IplanRio, in partnership with the Municipal Attorney General's Office, began sending notifications to taxpayers with outstanding debts. A total of 120,000 electronic messages were sent regarding the benefits of the Carioca em Dia 2025 program—a new opportunity for individuals and businesses to settle their debts under special conditions. This strategic, seamless, and powerful operation was fully coordinated by various departments within IplanRio.

The result is a digital campaign that lands directly in taxpayers' inboxes, including their Debt Certificate (CDA) number, a breakdown of available benefits, and a link to the program's website. In short, it is a concrete bridge between citizens and their right to regularization, built on data, technology, and social awareness.

In addition to offering up to 100% discounts on fines and late interest, Carioca em Dia 2025 provides benefits for property tax (IPTU), real estate transfer tax (ITBI), various fees, and service tax (ISS) for taxable events occurring up to December 31, 2024. For taxpayers, this represents a fresh start. For the city, it is a new way to encourage compliance, recover resources, and strengthen trust in public administration.

This initiative also highlights a key aspect of IplanRio's work: the integration of technical and communications teams to deliver solutions that combine infrastructure with code. It is about providing accessible, humanized, and efficient paths so that public policies truly reach those who need them.

The program is available until June 30th and can be accessed at cariocaemdia.prefeitura.rio. By registering, taxpayers can view their debt, simulate discounts, and choose to pay via bank slip or PIX, without bureaucracy and with full transparency.

In a landscape of constant change, initiatives like this show that IplanRio does not just keep pace with the city—it anticipates solutions, builds bridges, and strengthens the relationship between the municipality and its citizens.
