IplanRio made a strategic appearance at Rio Innovation Week, Latin America's largest technology and innovation event, participating in a panel discussion at the invitation of the Municipal Secretariat of Integrity and Transparency (SMIT). Our goal was clear: not just to observe, but to actively engage in the discussions shaping the future of smart cities and digital transformation in the public sector.

Vice President Fernando Ivo joined the panel "Transparency in the 5.0 Context: Innovation and Social Control for the Future," alongside Kelly Esch, Transparency Coordinator at the Municipal Secretariat of Integrity and Transparency (SMIT); David Carlos, board member of the Instituto Cidade Democrática; and Andressa Fioravanti, consultant at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and coordinator of the Instituto Fogo Cruzado.

For Fernando Ivo, "the event is an excellent opportunity to reflect on how transparency and technology are linked, and innovation plays a fundamental role in this context. We must remember that local technological contexts vary, but access to information is a right for everyone and must be guaranteed.
