At the Rio City Hall booth during Rio Innovation Week, IplanRio participated in the “O Rio é Tech” program, broadcast by Band FM, to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence and the future of technology in the city. The interview featured CEO João Carabetta, who shared insights on how digital transformation is already shaping public services in Rio.

The discussion highlighted that artificial intelligence, once seen as a trend, is now being applied to solutions that directly improve the daily lives of the population. Examples discussed included systems capable of streamlining services, reducing bureaucracy, and generating savings for the public treasury, while also contributing to more sustainable management by optimizing resources.

The importance of the responsible use of technology was also addressed, with an emphasis on transparency, ethics, and data security. As highlighted during the program, the focus must be on ensuring that innovations are always at the service of the citizen, promoting efficiency without losing sight of the protection of rights. The event provided a platform to show that Rio is well-positioned to establish itself as a benchmark for innovation in Latin America, bringing together talent, institutions, and public policies within a single ecosystem.
