Jorge Francisco Antunes has dedicated his career to information technology, with a distinguished tenure at the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Information Technology Company (IplanRio). Currently serving as Director of Operations, he leads a team of over 150 professionals responsible for managing the data center, the city's technological infrastructure, and the entire connectivity network for the City Hall.

Throughout his more than 25 years at IplanRio, Antunes has held various strategic positions, most notably as Infrastructure Manager. In this role, he oversaw critical projects that drove the modernization and security of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall's ICT infrastructure. His leadership was instrumental in upgrading the data center environment and implementing new technologies, ensuring the robustness and continuity of digital systems essential to the services provided to the citizens of Rio.
